EU funds for energy efficiency projects in manufacturing

If you haven’t had the budget to increase the energy efficiency of your production plant, now is your chance…. up to 85% of eligible costs are being co-financed!

On 15 October 2020, the Ministry of the Economy and Sustainable Development published the second Call for Proposals aimed at increasing energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources in manufacturing. Applications will be accepted from 16th November 2020 to 25th January 2021.

Who can apply?

Micro, small, medium and large private companies registered to perform production and processing activities in manufacturing, except those related to food, beverage and tobacco products.

The objective of this call for project proposals is to reduce the consumption of delivered energy in production facilities by at least 20% compared to the consumption of delivered energy before the implementation of measures and to reduce the consumption of delivered energy for heating/cooling of the buildings by at least 40%.

Eligible project activities

  • Activities of preparation of project proposal documentation and other project-technical documentation
  • Energy efficiency measures and renewable energy sources in production plants and energy renovation of buildings
  • Project management and administration activities and information and visibility activities
